HiOSMobile – Version 1.2.8.2
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.8.2, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) mobile app!
In this version, we’ve just made some small changes, tweaks, and bug fixes.
Changes:
- We have changed the app icon to match the new design of our new HiOSMobile logo:
- We have changed the banner image for the app to symbolize our new logo and our new design language, rather than our old translucent, Vista-like design:
- We have renamed our subscription service from “THCPro” to “THCPlus”
- We have renamed the section from “HiOS Secure Login” to just “Secure Login”
- We have rounded all the corners inside the app even more; we have rounded the corners of the “roundedImage” class’s ‘border-radius’ in the stylesheet from ’25px’ to ’50px’.
Bug Fixes:
- We have fixed a bug where the font was different when the app was in dark mode.

HiOSMobile – Version 1.2.8.1
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.8.1, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) mobile app!
In this version, we’ve just made some small changes and tweaks.
Changes:
- We have added the ability to download our The Highland Cafe(tm) Restaurant Menus PDF file instead of viewing jpegs inside our app
- We have changed all the fonts on all the Forms that are part of our app to fit in with the rest of our app

HiOSMobile – Version 1.2.8
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.8, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) mobile app!
In this version, we’ve just made some small changes and tweaks.
Changes:
- We have added the ability to book a table at The Highland Cafe(tm)
Bug Fixes:
- We have updated all the help pages to match the new design
- We have fixed a bug where the check-in, -out, and room booking pages appeared dark. The solution was to add the new CSS to those specific pages too

HiOSMobile – Version 1.2.7
We apologize for not posting any new upgrades to the HiOSMobile app – we have just been focusing on other projects 🙂
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.7, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) mobile app!
In this version, we’ve just made some pretty large changes and tweaks!
Changes:
- We are introducing a brand new design and aesthetic for our HiOSMobile app.
Old vs. New (the old applies to all versions > 1.2.0 and < 1.2.6.1) - We have worked on and released a brand new dark/light mode that changes depending on the theme of your smartphone/device
- We changed the main font of the app back to a light-ish Outfit varient
- We changed the main colour scheme from a sort-of greeny-blue to a blue, just like it was last December
Improvements:
- Fixed a bug where the “Check for Updates” button, the “What’s New?”, and the “Visit NuggetOS website” buttons would all open inside the HiOSMobile app rather than your default web browser. To fix this, we added the following code to the Settings Fragment of the app:

HiOSMobile – 1.2.6.1
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.6.1, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) mobile app!
In this version, we’ve just made a few minor changes.
Improvements:
- Fixed a bug where the text on the WorstEastern section of the app was white

HiOSMobile – 1.2.6
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.6, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) mobile app!
In this version, we’ve made some big changes!
Improvements:
- Due to the fact that we are shutting down the WorstEastern app, we have added all the functions of the said app to the main HiOSMobile app, to make everything much simpler!
The message from the WorstEastern website - we are in the midst of shutting down the web-servers for the WorstEastern web section
- We have removed all the download links to WorstEastern app

In this version, we’ve made lots of improvements/fixes!
Please Note:
- We only added a 1 to the version number as this is a minor update.
Improvements:
- We have changed the font away from Outfit to Shippori Antique in an attempt to continue to change the design language even more

HiOSMobile – Version 1.2.5
Introducing HiOSMobile version 1.2.5, the latest version of the The Highland Cafe(tm) Mobile app!
In this version, we’ve made lots of improvements/fixes!
Improvements:
- We’ve changed the name of the app from “HiOS Mobile” to “HiOSMobile”
- We have grouped different items that were in the drawer: “Food Ordering”, “Food Menus”, and “Our Locations” are now in a section called “Restaurant”, to make it simpler
- And we have also grouped “Help & About” and “Terms and Conditions” into a single section called “Help & More”
- Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that’s it!

HiOS(tm) Mobile – Version 1.2.4

- We’ve added the functionality to login to the kiosks @ Worst Eastern via entering a 2FA code shown on the screen.
